Week in Review 07/01/2013 - 07/07/2013

Here's our weekly recap post!

On twitter (remember, find us @EnyTimeCreation) we have been putting some fun pictures of some of the things we've been working on, as well as some of the crafts our kids have been doing.

In addition to posting finished projects to our Pinterest page, we've been looking around for inspiration for future projects.

We've been keeping you posted on our Facebook page. It looks like people really like our Hero of Canton hat and the picture of the Moment of Peace Book Clock. That book clock was made with someone in mind, but if it doesn't work out for them, you will see it up on our Etsy page soon.

Speaking of our Etsy page, we've add The Hero of Canton Hat!

Here on Blogger, we had a post from our new talent (Find it here), and got a hint as to what makes him "tick" (hehe I'm funny...).

We're still in the process of rebranding, and finding what we enjoy doing, and learning new ways to do things. If you have any thoughts on our journey so far, let us know! Remember, we love hearing from you however you want to get a hold of us.

Hero of Canton Hat

Hero of Canton Hat now on our Etsy Page

New Talent Introduction

In watching Erin make things, and seeing how other people appreciated her skill, I was a little jealous. I wanted to find a way to be a part of what she was doing, but my crocheting skills are... shall we say... limited (I can make rectangles using single or double crochet). I have had a bit more time on my hands recently, and started looking for something I could do that was crafty and creative, and something I could enjoy. Then I found it, a picture of a book someone turned into a clock. I have no idea why, but I was drawn to it. Now I've made two book clocks, and have started turning other things into clocks. I have an old record to experiment to make a cool clock, and I am learning different ways to “upcycle” old records that no longer work (we have a record player, and I enjoy listening to records while cleaning or crafting). I've also started finding other things to turn into clocks. A Jack Daniel's tin is ready, and my mind has changed while looking around at goodwill and garage sales. I am excited to be a part of the rebranding of Eny Time Creations. On a side note, we are trying to create an online presence, so keep an eye out for us and say “hi” on your favorite social media outlets!
